The value for money at Flying Dog Hostel was excellent. The room was beautifully designed with AC, comfy sheets, and a hot shower. The location was perfect for evening walks and close to the center. The staff, especially Marcel, were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The morning meal could be improved with more organized breakfast service.

The rooms at Flying Dog Iquitos are super cozy, with wooden beds covered in lovely, soft pastel bedspreads. It just feels so homey and inviting, like a warm hug after a long day of exploring. As someone who loves a comfortable sleep, this room definitely hit the spot!
Personally, I would have preferred having a private bathroom instead of the shared ones. But hey, I understand that some people may not mind and it's all about personal preference, right?

We had a great stay at Flying Dog Hostel in Iquitos. The AC in our room was a lifesaver, especially with the amazing view of the Amazon River. The location was convenient, although there was some street noise. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the well-equipped kitchen. I'll recommend this hotel.

Loved the 24-hour front desk's "helpful" attitude, especially when arranging shuttles to the airport. The safety features, like the fire extinguisher, were just what I needed for a relaxing stay. And who doesn't love free WiFi?
The children's travel guidance and TV in the common area were simply unnecessary, but hey, at least there was free breakfast.

The room had a beautiful design with AC, comfortable sheets, and a hot shower with good water pressure. the whole place was clean and had a lovely shipibo material decor. the location was perfect for evening walks by the waterfront and close to the city center and restaurants. Plus, there was a supermarket nearby for convenience.
The noise from the street was quite bothersome, and some of the staff seemed careless. the breakfast was hit or miss, but at least it included an egg.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even providing a pick up service from the airport despite our flight being delayed. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, with a supermarket just around the corner. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the fan to combat the hot and sticky weather. The common areas were great, with a well-equipped kitchen, computer, and smoking area. The owner recommended an amazing Amazon jungle tour that was a highlight of our trip. The tour guide, a local who knew the rainforest inside out, provided informative commentary during our walks.
Couldn't fault.

The rooms at Flying Dog Hostel Iquitos have cozy wooden beds with adorable pastel-colored bedspreads. It feels like staying in a charming little cabin, which I absolutely loved as a vegetarian/vegan traveler.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the shared bathrooms, but hey, that's just my preference. Others might find them perfectly fine.

Cool location, dope vibes, and helpful staff. Jungle trek negotiation tip: go to the office, not the hostel. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms, and a cozy atmosphere.
Felt like chilling at home, no complaints.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Iquitos and had an amazing experience. The staff at Flying Dog were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. They were always available to assist with anything I needed. The location of the hostel was very convenient, with a grocery store just a 5-minute walk away and the main plaza, banks, and shops all within a 10-minute walk. I stayed in an air-conditioned dorm, which was comfortable, and the bathrooms were always clean. Although the WiFi was slow, it seems to be a standard issue in Iquitos. I would highly recommend Flying Dog Hostel for a pleasant stay.
Nothing, all was good! 😊

The hot shower with good water pressure was especially refreshing after spending time in the jungle. I also loved the shipibo material used throughout the hostel, creating a unique and clean atmosphere. The location was ideal, with easy access to the waterfront for evening walks and close proximity to the center and restaurants. I had a wonderful experience at Flying Dog Hostel.

The vibes were on point and we had a blast with our friends. We even had the chance to explore the crazy nightlife in Iquitos and dance like there was no tomorrow. Plus, the location was perfect and allowed us to easily visit the famous Belén Market and take a boat trip through the stunning Amazon River. we had an epic time and made memories that will last a lifetime.
If there was one thing that could have made our stay even better, it would be having a dedicated party area where we could hang out with other young travelers and have wild, unforgettable nights together. A cool DJ playing some sick beats and a dance floor would have taken our party experience to the next level.

My wife says that having a small play area for children would have been great.
